Popular South Indian sexy actress Nayanthara was born on November 18, 1984 in Kerala, India. Her real name is Diana Mariam Kurien, meaning "Eyes like Stars", and she was raised in a Tiruvalla based Christian family. She was born as a Christian in Tiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. She did schooling from North India (Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Punjab and Karnataka)as her father was an Air Force Official. She joined Balikamadom High School, Thiruvalla for +2, then joined Marthoma college in Thiruvalla for her bachelors degree. She completed her B.A. Literature and she became interested in acting after getting good exposure from college. She has learnt Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi and Sanskrit when she was in college, which helped her career later.
